Townlands Trustee wins Henley Herald Commuity Champion Award

FROTH celebrated last night as Dr Peter Ashby won the Community Champion Charity Award at the annual Henley Herald Community Champions dinner. The decision was the result of a public vote of Henley Herald readers, and we were told that, from a very strong list of nominees, Peter was the overwhelming winner.

Dr Ashby, a trustee of the charity, has been a strong supporter and advocate of Townlands Memorial Hospital for decades.  It’s not an exaggeration to say that it is thanks to the hard work he has done, with others, over many years that we still have a hospital in Henley-on-Thames today.
